Most loved
Luskentyre is situated on the west coast of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides and is by far my favourite place in Scotland. This beach is remote and spectacular. The colours of the sand and sea can be compared to a Caribbean Island but when taking a dip you definitely know you’re in Scotland!

Achmelvich lies beside the north west of Lochinver close to Ullapool. This spectacular beach is hidden amongst its beautiful deserted hillside. Its crystal clear waters and vibrant colours are breath taking demonstrating how beautiful nature can be.

Standing like a sentinel, Dunnottar Castle is a ruined medieval fortress located on a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland near Stonehaven. This place is historical and has an ethereal quality. My aim was to paint the panorama in a colourful, eye catching way, highlighting the curtain of light that draws the eye towards the main focus of the castle.

Lunan Bay is one of the finest beaches on the East Coast - a spectacular sweep of sand, with a cave and arch at its northern end, and even a ruined castle. The beach is a fun place to take the family for a spot of sand sledging and a picnic. Its changing light and sea mist creates a beautiful site and is well worth a visit.
