Standing like a sentinel, Dunnottar Castle is a ruined medieval fortress located on a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland near Stonehaven. This place is historical and has an ethereal quality. My aim was to paint the panorama in a colourful, eye catching way, highlighting the curtain of light that draws the eye towards the main focus of the castle.
